Wow - what an amaaazing whirlwind of a week we’ve had at Scotland’s Trade Fair! We couldn’t be happier with how it all went, we’re noo back in Shetland and still buzzing from the experience.
Our adventure started with a boat trip from Shetland on the ferry (14 hours overnight), arriving in Aberdeen before making the drive down to Glasgow’s SECC. This was wir second time at the show, so we felt a peerie bit more prepared - armed with banners, flyers, and, of course, plenty of TASTERS!
During the event, we had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing & inspiring people - from other small businesses to industry experts and wir fantastic customers (IYKYK). The atmosphere was incredible, and we felt incredibly lucky to be part of such a brilliant event.
Meeting wir show neighbours – It was great to be alongside the lovely folks at Summer House Drinks and The Inventors Gin Company.
Sampling some unreal produce – Some of wir favourites included Annie’s Herb Kitchen, Slaintesauces, and Chevron Chocolate Company. The standard of food and drink on show was just incredible!

Of course, no trip would be complete without sampling some of the incredible food and drink Glasgow has to offer. Between show days, we managed to squeeze in some cracking meals:
Ramandayo – This Japanese street food spot was unreal. The flavours, the textures, everything was just spot on. If you’re a fan of proper, comforting Japanese eats, this place is a must!
Teamki – We couldn’t resist stopping by Teamki for a seriously good meal. Their selection was incredible, and the portions were HUGE! It was asum!
The Islay in Glasgow – After a long day at the show, we popped into The Islay in Glasgow for a well-earned drink. A cosy spot with a cracking selection of whisky - exactly what we needed to round off the trip!
Winning the social media prize means we’ve secured a stall at next year’s show - and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re already looking forward to doing it all over again.
For now, we’re back home, restocking, and gearing up for our next launch (keep your eyes peeled). A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, had a chat, and supported us both in person and online. Your support means the world to us!
